Job Summary

Platinum Pacific Partners is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Technology Investing team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the technology sector, conducting due diligence, and supporting the execution of transactions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology investing, with experience in private equity, corporate development, or principal investment. You will have a proven track record of identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the execution of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the technology sector
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial, operational, and strategic analysis
  • Support the execution of transactions, including negotiation of deal terms and completion of due diligence
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's technology investing strategy and portfolio

Requirements

  • 7-10 years' experience in technology investing, private equity, corporate development, or principal investment
  • Strong background in technology and software industry
  • Proven track record of identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the execution of transactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
