Job Title: Director - Investment

Organisation Blue Tree Group is seeking a highly experienced Director - Investment to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for leading our investment assessment and due diligence process, working closely with our investment analysts and transaction team to prepare internal investment committee recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead investment assessment and due diligence, including sponsor, property, feasibility, and business case analysis
  • Work with the investment team to prepare internal investment committee recommendations, including detailed financial assessments and investment papers
  • Manage a select portfolio of investments and development partners, ensuring timely and effective delivery of projects
  • Assist the Executive team with new business development, including relationship management, bid proposals, and acquisition strategy
  • Contribute to the development of our annual investment strategy and business plan
  • Evolve and execute our internal portfolio monitoring, risk, and reporting regime to enable enhanced decision-making
  • Monitor and evaluate ongoing investments, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, development, and valuations
  • Multi-sector experience, with a focus on residential built form, industrial, and commercial sectors
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as real estate valuation, land economics, or construction
  • Strong interpersonal and transaction management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
