Childcare Coordinator Role

This position involves providing care and supervision to children during before and after school hours.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily activities that are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value for children aged 5-12 years.
  • Plan and implement a range of engaging programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Support children with their daily routines, including preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, families, school leaders and the community.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Children's Services or equivalent.
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check is mandatory.
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training is required.
  • Child Protection training (CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk) is essential.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to plan and deliver engaging programs.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
