At Challenge Community Services, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional support services that enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Frontline Support Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role requires a skilled professional who can provide high-quality, person-centred support to clients with complex needs.

About the Role:

This challenging yet rewarding position involves providing tailored support for clients with complex requirements, working collaboratively with teams to develop care plans and manage health, behavioural, and crisis scenarios.

  • Complex Care Management: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.
  • Behavioural Support: Utilise evidence-based strategies to de-escalate concerns and ensure safety during emergencies.
  • Mentorship: Lead and mentor staff to foster a culture of excellence and promote continuous learning.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and their support networks to ensure services align with individual goals.
  • Advocacy & Documentation: Advocate for client rights and maintain accurate records to ensure NDIS compliance.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in high-intensity disability support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • An ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent qualification.

  • An estimated annual salary of $70,000 - $90,000 AUD, dependent on experience.
