Support Worker for Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities in a community-based care setting.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of person-centred care, and a willingness to learn. They should be enthusiastic, caring, tolerant, and dedicated to delivering high-quality support.

Duties may include:

  • Assisting with personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management
  • Providing manual handling assistance: wheelchair transfers, hoisting
  • Undertaking domestic duties: housework, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Enabling community access: transporting clients to shopping, medical appointments, and social activities

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A First Aid Certificate
  • Working rights in Australia
  • A driver's license
