Senior Environmental Engineers are key drivers in the execution of complex environmental engineering projects. This leadership role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise and a genuine passion for environmental stewardship. You will manage a diverse portfolio of projects, lead a team of environmental scientists and engineers, and work closely with clients to ensure compliance, innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution and completion of environmental assessment and remediation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable outcomes.
2. Client Engagement: Serve as the principal liaison for clients, managing relationships, project scopes and deliverables.
3. Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance in contaminated land assessment, environmental site assessments (ESAs), waste classification, groundwater monitoring and remediation strategies.
4. Team Development: Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a high-performance, learning-oriented culture.
5. Compliance & Risk Management: Navigate local/state environmental regulations and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
6. Reporting: Prepare and review high-quality technical reports, environmental management plans (EMPs) and compliance documentation.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
Australian driver's license and white card.
Minimum 6 years in environmental consulting or engineering, including leadership of multidisciplinary projects.
Certifications: CEnvP (Certified Environmental Practitioner) or eligibility for relevant national registrations will be advantageous.

Skillset:
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and project management skills. Proficiency in environmental legislation, impact assessment and contaminated land management is essential.
