
Aircraft System Specialist

Aircraft maintenance technicians play a vital role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and certifying aviation components across various systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, electrical, environmental, and mechanical systems.
- Tear down and cleaning of components and preparation of inspection reports after measurements of subcomponents/parts, tests against acceptability criteria, determining parts that require replacement, outside testing and/or services.
- Reassembly of components according to the Component Maintenance Manual or shop procedures, including inspections, tests, and functional tests.
- Reassembly tasks may include painting, re-surfacing, soldering, wiring, repairs, adjustments, and assembly operations.
- Verify all paperwork and traceability of parts used in component assemblies.
- Ensure data related to measurements, testing, functional tests and inspections is recorded on the work order or applicable documents.
- Participate or lead in the development of repair techniques or processes to enhance productivity.
- Experience in the Aviation Components Industry is essential.
- Relevant Trade Qualifications.
