**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Energy Market Analyst to join our team. As an Energy Market Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely pricing outputs for electricity, gas, and carbon products.

You will manage and maintain sophisticated pricing models to support both wholesale and retail strategies, ensuring competitive offerings for existing and prospective customers.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in wholesale energy pricing or wholesale markets, as well as proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and Tableau for data analysis and reporting.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant numerate discipline (e.g. Science, Maths, Finance, Economics, IT or Engineering)
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a commercial analytical environment
  • Significant experience in wholesale energy pricing or wholesale markets – minimum 3 years
