Job Title:

Psychosocial Recovery Coach

About the Role:

Our organisation is seeking dedicated individuals to support participants in achieving their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives.

The Psychosocial Recovery Coach will be working closely with participants to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. They will develop person-centred plans that cater to each individual's needs, promoting empowerment and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Skill building: Identify and address skill gaps to enhance participant outcomes.
  • Linking participants to community services: Connect participants with employment, mental health, and other relevant services to support their NDIS goals.
  • Providing ongoing supports: Offer continuous support to participants throughout their service engagement.
  • Informed decision-making: Collaborate with participants to make informed decisions about their NDIS plans.
  • Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of participants to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Cert 4 in Mental Health or equivalent training/qualifications or 2 years' experience working within the Mental Health industry or lived experience.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check or Current NPC.
  • Drivers Licence and Car.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You'. DSC Supporting People to Stay Infection Free.
  • [STANDARD_02_HHA] Hand Hygiene Standard Theory Online Learning Module.
  • First Aid.
  • CPR.
  • Have or Willing to get a Working with Vulnerable Children (WWC) check.
