Job Title

The role of a Data Transformation Program Specialist is to contribute to the success of a key project with one of our valued customers. The program is in its second phase and scheduled to run until 2027. A data processing platform has been built on AWS using native AWS data and application services.

This is a full-time contract role with an immediate start, running to the end of December 2025, with a potential 6-month extension available. The role is based in Canberra with the option to work from home on regular days once onboarding is completed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the program solution architecture remains aligned with the organisation's strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including program architects and project teams, to understand business requirements and design comprehensive architecture solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring best practice and standards are upheld.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of architecture designs and decisions.
  • Contribute to architecture practices and maturity, including cross-architecture domains where required.
  • Ensure code developed is testable where applicable.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a varied skillset with proven experience in:

  • Enterprise-level cloud data analytics and processing platforms with AWS experience preferred.
  • Contemporary data management, processing, and pipeline patterns and approaches.
  • Data mesh and multi-cloud architectures.
