Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Accreditation Specialist to join our team as a Sustainability and Environment Portfolio Manager. This role will play a key part in supporting the implementation of organisational values, strategy, and processes through the development and maintenance of knowledge, practice, process, and documentation for sectors or schemes within the nominated portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Relate conformity assessment to stakeholder needs.
  • Support regulatory initiatives and engage with industry, regulators, and scheme owners.
  • Participate in technical discussions and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage knowledge transfer and allocated scheme committees.
  • Undertake assessments, support assessors, and identify talent for the assessment pool.
  • Coach and mentor assessors and technical specialists.
  • Undertake projects and contribute to internal system improvements.
Requirements
  • Experienced auditor/Assessor (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the Australian and/or New Zealand regulatory environment
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience in auditing/assessing against environmental standards
  • Eligible to work in Australia and New Zealand
