Key Role in Racing Department

Imagine working at a prestigious sports and property development company.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Racing Department on a full-time basis, located at Caulfield Racecourse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to thoroughbred owners and breeders, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all enquiries and requests.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with owners and breeders to promote ongoing engagement.
  • Offer tailored support to syndicate managers and ownership groups to help coordinate their race day participation and enhance their experiences.
  • Manage direct communication to owners with a horse competing at Caulfield, Sandown and Mornington race meetings in relation to race day privileges and additional requests.
  • Represent the Club at industry events, bloodstock auctions, stallion parades and trainer/syndicator open days as a visible and approachable ambassador for ownership engagement.
  • Work in partnership with the Marketing and Business Development teams to provide opportunities for owners and breeders to deepen their relationship.

The role requires a strong understanding of the thoroughbred racing industry, including owner, breeder, and syndicator engagement. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, client services or relationship management is essential.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of the racing industry and an understanding of owner and breeder dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, client relations or a similar customer-focused role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced event environment.
