Key Responsibilities- Provide best practice nursing care, including comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
- Support the delivery of safe, person- and family-centered patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of treatment and care provision, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary care.
- Participate in clinical supervision for Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Complete mandatory training and participate in performance reviews to uphold professional development standards.
- Undertake clinical shifts, including participation in the on-call, after-hours, and weekend roster as required.
- Competent professional nursing practice in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient management.
- Strong planning, coordination, and decision-making skills, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate positive interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in computer software and database entry to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Registered Nurse qualifications and AHPRA registration, demonstrating compliance with professional standards.
- Police Check with no notable offences, ensuring suitability for employment.
- Australian Workers Rights documentation, affirming eligibility for employment in Australia.
- Compliance with Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Certification and proof of vaccination against COVID-19 & Influenza, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
- Minimum of 12-months Hospital work experience, showcasing relevant clinical expertise.
- Reliable Transportation, enabling timely attendance for shifts and on-call duties.
