Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our team at KnG Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing best practice nursing care, supporting the delivery of safe, person/family-centred patient care, and maintaining accurate records of treatment and care provision.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide High-Quality Nursing Care: Assess, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  2. Support Patient-Centred Care: Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
  3. Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient treatment and care provision to ensure continuity of care.
  4. Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with RNs and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary care.
  5. Participate in Clinical Supervision: Assist Assistants in Nursing and students in their clinical development.
  6. Complete Mandatory Training: Participate in regular training and performance reviews to ensure professional development.
  7. Undertake Clinical Shifts: Participate in on-call/after-hours/weekend roster to ensure 24/7 patient care.
Requirements
  1. Competent Professional Nursing Practice: Demonstrate expertise in clinical settings.
  2. Strong Planning and Coordination Skills: Manage patient care effectively and efficiently.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  4. Proficiency in Computer Software: Utilize computer software and database entry to maintain accurate records.
  5. Effective Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure optimal patient care.
Essential Documentation/Declarations
  1. Enrolled Nurse Qualifications: Hold current Enrolled Nurse qualifications and AHPRA registration.
  2. NDIS Workers Clearance: Hold current NDIS Workers Clearance.
  3. Police Check: Hold a current Police Check with no notable offences.
  4. Australian Workers Rights: Comply with Australian Workers Rights.
  5. Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Certification: Hold current VPD Certification.
  6. COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccination: Be vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza.
  7. Minimum 12-Months Hospital Experience: Hold a minimum of 12-months hospital work experience.
  8. Reliable Transportation: Possess reliable transportation to ensure timely attendance.
