Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Governance Lead to join our team at Speller International in Hobart. As a key member of our program, you will be responsible for developing data quality governance roles, responsibilities, and processes.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent business engagement skills, knowledge of data management standards, and experience with SAP (advantageous). You will work closely with operational teams to design and implement data governance models and lead workshops to assist business stakeholders in discovering data under their custody.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a standard data quality management approach, including templates, documents, and processes for active data quality management by the business.
  • Lead workshops and sessions to support business stakeholders in understanding and prioritizing data quality rules.
  • Assess the feasibility and impact of data quality rules through scoping ad-hoc activities and performing data analysis.
  • Scope and document remediation activities for data quality as agreed upon with business stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of data management and data quality standards, frameworks, and approaches.
  • Business analysis and design/documentation of processes, roles, or responsibility matrix.
  • Strong business engagement skills and ability to prepare and lead discovery activities with operational teams.
  • Experience designing and implementing a data governance or data quality model in a mid-size to large organization.

About the Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 per annum, reflecting the demands of this challenging role in Hobart.
