Support Specialist for Individuals with Complex Needs

About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to provide high-quality support to individuals living with disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing personal care, assistance with daily activities, and emotional support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to individuals living with disabilities
- Assist clients in achieving their personal goals and independence
- Support clients in social, recreational, and community participation activities
- Manage challenging behaviors and provide tailored support based on individual care plans
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Community Care
- Experience working with clients who have complex needs in an Aged Care environment
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Minimum six months of recent experience in providing personal care assistance to clients in an aged care or community setting

The estimated salary for this role is $28-$35 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
