About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team. As the driving force behind building our reputation as a premier events destination, you will be responsible for generating and driving revenue growth through the sale of event services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and grow our event portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including weddings, social events, and corporate functions.
- Remain updated on industry trends, competitors' activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, logistics, vendor coordination, and client communication.
- Lead site tours, create compelling proposals, and close deals to secure bookings.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to promote events and increase brand visibility.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Manage relationships with venue-sourcing platforms.
- Train and develop junior members of our functions team.
About You:
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales, event management, or a related field.
