Nursing Educator Position

Deakin University seeks a skilled Lecturer in Nursing to lead teaching teams, engage in impactful research, and develop effective unit curricula.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure high-quality learning experiences through ongoing improvement, leading undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs.
- Engage in scholarly activities and impactful research within the discipline of nursing.
- Develop curricula and resources, contributing to unit leadership roles and implementation of refinements as needed.
- Apply industry, clinical, and/or research practice into student learning experiences, promoting success and engagement.
- Drive innovation in curriculum design at the unit level, delivering learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices across different levels/modes of delivery.
- Support applications for research and creative activities, including external funding.
- Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse.
- Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Exhibit an excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design.
- Display capacity to contribute to leadership of research and administration.
