We are seeking a skilled Project Coordination Specialist to join our expanding Customer Service team at Shangri-La. As a key member of our project management team, you will work closely with the Manager to contribute to overall project objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing projects by providing expertise and best practices. You will work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure company and individual goals are achieved.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing project objectives/needs and managing project requirement-related documentation, project-tracking, project resourcing, and budgeting.
  • Managing and communicating project status materials to all participants.
  • Providing post-implementation support.
  • Interacting with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs, solve business problems, and design technical solutions as needed.
  • Assisting the Project Manager with all necessary tasks related to the project.
  • Working with different Lines of Business to establish and meet business requirements on process improvement opportunities using process improvement tools/methodology.
  • Ability to facilitate and create documentation (e.g., SLA, SOP), flowcharts, diagrams, and presentation decks on findings and process improvement opportunities.
  • Delivering engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations, providing status reports and progress updates as needed, and communicating difficult or sensitive information tactfully.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Able to converse & write in Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, French, Arabic OR Italian.
  • At least 2 years of working experience as a Project Specialist, preferably in a call centre environment.
  • Project-related professional certifications are preferred.
  • Computer literate and internet savvy.
  • Result-oriented and passionate about delivering projects successfully.
  • Flexible to changes and has a sense of urgency.
  • Can work under pressure and deliver set goals.
  • Positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Pleasant personality with excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Open to Malaysians only.
