Commercial Governance Officer

As a Commercial Governance Officer, you will provide secretariat and governance support to the GLB Chair and Board members. This role is responsible for providing administrative assistance in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that meetings are well organised, documented, and conducted in a compliant manner.
About the Role- Establish and coordinate Board and subcommittee meetings including scheduling, logistics, technology requirements and catering.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, pre-reading material, reports and briefs in a timely manner, including liaison with stakeholders.
- Liaise with GLB Chair, Board Members and stakeholders to gather, review and finalise board submissions.
The incumbent will also be responsible for attending all meetings and taking accurate minutes and circulate for review, finalisation and endorsement. Additionally, they will maintain an accurate and up-to-date decisions and action items register and work with accountable members to enable status updates.
Requirements- Previous experience in providing Secretariat and / or Executive Officer level support to a Board or Executive Governance Body.
- The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Board Members and stakeholders.
- Results driven, pragmatic, and agile in work practices to deliver meaningful outcomes.
