Job Overview:
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for IT infrastructure and operations that aligns with business goals and fosters technological innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and scientific community to understand their needs and ensure I&O services are aligned with business priorities.
  • Establish and manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and performance.
  • Work closely with CISO and Director of IT to Implement and monitor robust risk management practices to protect the organization's infrastructure and data assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing I&O team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the I&O budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Develop technical plans and execute them effectively, ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through technology.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT, identifying opportunities to enhance business capabilities and competitiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure and operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (primarily Azure) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, virtualization, and storage solutions.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
  • Ability to align IT strategies with business objectives and drive value through technology.
