About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a sessional lecturer in the School of Law and Business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students, focusing on human resource management, public relations, public administration, finance, accounting, marketing, management, and governance, risk management, ESG, and systems thinking.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations that meet the standards of the School.
  • Provide individualized support to students, including consultation and feedback on their progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve teaching goals and develop curriculum documents.
Requirements
  • A PhD or DBA in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Prior teaching experience at the tertiary level, with a strong understanding of pedagogical principles and adult learning concepts.
  • Industry experience in areas such as human resource management, public relations, public administration, finance, accounting, marketing, management, and governance, risk management, ESG, and systems thinking will be highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including online delivery platforms.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is between AU$60,000 and AU$90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
