Mareena Purslowe Funerals is a part of InvoCare, an industry leader within the funeral industry. Our company currently operates over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Location Manager Role

The Location Manager has a strong focus on ensuring our brand is well known in the community, while being results-oriented and delivering quality service to our clients.

This role requires building positive relationships with stakeholders, motivating a team, and providing compassionate care and support to families during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

You will be responsible for operations, people, and finance management for an extremely high-volume location. Additionally, you will need to deliver profit objectives while maintaining outstanding customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and inspire your team by creating a workplace where people feel valued, challenged and proud to be part of the team
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including people and finance management for a high-volume location
  • Deliver profit objectives while ensuring excellent customer service levels
  • Sensitivity to circumstances involving grieving people, their values and beliefs
  • Customer-focused with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the public
  • Empathy to interpret the needs of people and clearly communicate options to clients
  • Competent administrative and computing skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to participate in after-hour duties, including occasional weekend arrangements
