Civil Construction Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Operator to join our team at FlexiStaff. This is a great opportunity for a multi-faceted individual to start a career in local government.

About the Role:

As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating various large mobile plant equipment, including construction and maintenance vehicles, to work on council infrastructure projects such as roadworks, footpaths, kerbing, and drainage systems.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and possess relevant certifications, including an HR Licence, Excavator Ticket, Front End Loader Ticket, Skid Steer Loader Ticket, and Traffic Management Ticket.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile plant equipment to construct and maintain council infrastructure projects
  • Assist with asphalt and concrete work, drainage sump works, and cleaning
  • Perform general labouring duties as required

What We Offer:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of projects and locations. You will also receive a competitive salary of AU$35-AU$37 per hour plus incentives, and enjoy a 9-day fortnight roster with opportunities for overtime.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Relevant certifications, including HR Licence, Excavator Ticket, and Traffic Management Ticket
  • Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Drug and Alcohol test
