Job Title: Director of Guided Weapons Operations
The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to spearhead our guided weapons maintenance operations at HMAS Stirling, WA.
This is a critical executive-level position that requires strategic technical expertise to drive performance in support of Defence operations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety and efficiency.
The successful candidate will lead teams of technicians who test, repair and maintain complex guided weapons and explosive ordnance products used by the Australian Defence Force.
About This Opportunity
- To lead and manage GWEO maintenance operations at west coast location, HMAS Stirling;
- To develop and implement strategies, policies, priorities and operational practices in support of Defence objectives;
- To provide strategic advice to senior management and stakeholders;
- To assume accountability for very complex guided weapons maintenance work that has operational significance;

The Explosive Ordnance Maintenance Directorate (EOMD) is an integral part of the wider Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Group but more broadly the Department of Defence.
