Director Gweo Maintenance Operations Role

This position entails leading and overseeing the maintenance of guided weapons at HMAS Stirling in Western Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of technicians responsible for testing, repairing and maintaining complex guided weapons and explosive ordnance products
  • Developing strategic plans and operational practices to support Defence objectives
  • Providing expert advice to senior management and stakeholders on matters related to guided weapons maintenance
  • Overseeing teams, including providing clear communication, setting performance standards and evaluating business outcomes
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in leading maintenance work within a regulated safety environment
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in workflow optimisation would be advantageous
  • The ability to obtain an NV 2 security clearance is mandatory
