Team Leader
Job Description:The Team Leader is responsible for managing a team to ensure effective delivery of outcomes. This involves leading, supervising and directing staff to deliver efficient and high-quality services.
- Develop and maintain relationships across the Clinical School, the wider Tasmanian School of Medicine, and relevant University stakeholders.
- Advise staff, students and clinicians about University policies, processes, and procedures.
- Manage key operational aspects including recruitment, budget monitoring, space, infrastructure, safety and compliance to meet program outcomes.
- Leadership: Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to mentor and motivate others.
- Interpersonal: Excellent oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand client needs.
- Organisational: Demonstrated organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to perform tasks accurately.
- Technical: Competence in the use of computer software applications including word-processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software and email.
- Improvement: Ability to identify and implement improvements in work methods.
This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills and contribute to the success of the Clinical School.
