Job Title:

Lead Outdoor Educator

About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing coaching and mentorship to outdoor educators, with a focus on developing and guiding professional development plans.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with team members to maximise performance potential and action professional development opportunities through feedback and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and guide professional development plans for outdoor educators.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to outdoor educators.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to support the growth and development of outdoor educators.
  • Ability to work with team to maximise their performance potential and action professional development opportunities through feedback and coaching.
  • Tertiary qualification in outdoor education/leadership (preferred).
  • Cert IV in training and assessment (ideal but not compulsory).
  • Current wilderness first aid and CPR certification.
  • Working with children's check (preferred).
Benefits:
  • Full-time position.
  • Base salary $53,916.20 per year + super.
  • Time in lieu accrued.
  • In-field allowance of 42.8% of daily rate when working a field day.
