Procurement Officer Position

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting multiple civil project teams with procurement and material coordination, as well as completing take-offs for site works including water, sewer, and stormwater.

The ideal candidate will have a background in civil construction, ideally on-site or in a project support role, and will be able to understand how pipe crews operate and communicate effectively with them.

This is a permanent, full-time position based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, offering a stable office-based role with opportunities for long-term growth and development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple civil project teams with procurement and material coordination.
  • Complete take-offs for site works including water, sewer, and stormwater.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with site needs.
  • Liaise directly with suppliers, subcontractors, and crew leaders.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks where required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a background in civil construction, ideally on-site or in a project support role.
  • Understands how pipe crews operate and can speak their language.
  • Is organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple requests at once.
  • Can work independently and communicate clearly with internal and external teams.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and general admin systems.
  • Holds a current driver's licence and has reliable transport.
