Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Firesoft People is seeking a skilled Treasury Trader to manage FX and Cryptocurrency positions arising from business payments and hedging activities in the APAC region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing market risks by hedging client trade activity within our network of foreign exchange bank counterparties in accordance with our prescribed interest rate and currency risk limits.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately quote Spot, Forward, Swap, and Option prices to make markets for the sales field.
  • Manage cash forecasting and book funding swaps.
  • Assist with the management of the currency options book to eliminate undue or excessive risk.
  • Execute Spot, Forward, Swap, and Option structures with counterparties to mitigate market risk.
  • Monitor and mitigate forward tenor risk.
  • Report daily risk positions and ensure compliance with the Treasury Risk Policy.
  • Evaluate economic events and their impact on currencies relevant to company interests.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and banking or related fields.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and patience.
  • A degree in finance or business administration.
