About the Job
The Indigenous Employment Mentor role is designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customers in their transition to employment.
This involves providing intensive mentoring services to clients, ensuring their successful integration into the workforce.
Key responsibilities include developing personalized employment plans, offering ongoing guidance throughout the job search process, building relationships with local employers, and assisting clients with resume writing and interview preparation.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, a strong passion for helping people find sustainable employment, and excellent interpersonal skills.
A Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development is preferred, and the ability to study if necessary.
