Senior Case Manager Role

This position entails leading and assisting case workers and mentors in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness or sleeping rough.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to case workers and mentors in delivering intensive ongoing support to clients.
  • Evaluate client progress against their individualized plans and offer assistance as required.
  • Actively advocate for clients with external services and government agencies.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the sector, involving other services, agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Promote team unity and contribute to maintaining a supportive work environment.
  • Maintain expertise in the program area, ensuring awareness of changes and developments in the community sector.
Essential Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in Community Work, Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles within the homelessness sector is preferred.
  • The ability to provide complex interventions and manage high-risk caseloads is crucial.
  • An effective risk assessment and issue resolution skillset is necessary for challenging situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is expected.
