Transformative Mental Health Leadership Role

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Community Mental Health Professional to lead a caseload of clients discharged from Thomas Embling Hospital, requiring linkage support to area mental health services in the short term. As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will oversee a team providing case management of forensic clients subject to custodial supervision orders granted Extended Leave by the courts to reside in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality intensive support for treatment-ordered clients post-discharge and case manage clients under Custodial Supervision Orders (CSO) on Extended Leave.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and interventions for high-risk clients in the community, including risk assessments, crisis plans, and care development.
Prepare case-managed clients for court and engage in relevant legal processes under various acts and legislation.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require strong clinical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with vulnerable populations.
