
Family Support Coordinator

This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a service-driven organisation, providing exceptional client family experiences and making a meaningful difference in people's lives. As an Administration Arranger, you will be part of a team that operates funeral locations, cemeteries and crematoria across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring reception areas are welcoming, neat and tidy, reflecting a professional image
- Administrative support for the team, including data entry, preparing letters and presentations
- Receiving payments and issuing accounts and associated correspondence
- Identifying service requirements with sensitivity to client grief, beliefs, traditions and rituals
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and services
- Completing funeral documentation accurately and on time
- Explaining costs and payment terms clearly
- Liaising with service providers, such as clergy, florist, newspapers and other suppliers
About You:
- You will have experience in a service-driven organisation
- You possess competent keyboard/computing and telephone operating skills
- You are people-oriented and can communicate effectively both in-person and on the telephone
- You are sensitive to grieving people, their values and beliefs and possess a level of comfort when dealing with the deceased
- You possess interpersonal skills to work in a close team environment and proactively support the team
- You are willing and motivated to undertake training and development programs
- You have the ability to respond appropriately to client/family concerns
- You have a sense of ease when working with grieving families and the deceased
- You hold a current status as Justice of the Peace or eligibility to become certified
- You hold a current unrestricted driver's license
