Store Manager Job Description

At Spotlight Group, we're seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive business growth. As a Store Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing store operations, managing a team of retail professionals, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing retail team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop and implement effective store strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to select and purchase merchandise that meets customer needs and drives sales.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven retail management experience, preferably in a big-box or large-format volume retailer.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage profit and loss.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to empower and mentor team members.
  • Performance management experience and ability to develop and implement performance plans.
  • High-volume stock management skills and ability to manage inventory effectively.
