Job Description:

The Lead Forensic Investigator is a senior member of the Digital Forensics and Threat Intelligence team responsible for leading complex digital investigations, managing forensic technology operations, and ensuring evidence integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee data breach responses, eDiscovery, and support lawful data requests.
  • Contribute to strategic security insights and develop policies to mitigate risks.
  • Mentor junior staff and maintain the Secure Digital Forensics lab.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address emerging cyber threats.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have extensive years of experience in forensic technology investigations, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly.

They should be proficient in industry-standard forensic tools (e.g., Nuix, EnCase, Cellebrite), SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), and have a solid understanding of IT systems, data management, and risk mitigation.

Relevant certifications (e.g., EnCE, GCFE, GCFA) and eligibility for Security Clearance are preferred. Experience in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and a Certificate IV in Government Investigations or Digital Forensics is advantageous.
