Job Title: Indigenous Science Initiative Coordinator

Job Description:

The Indigenous Science initiative seeks a highly skilled coordinator to provide administrative and project support.

This role plays a vital part in keeping the project on track through planning, scheduling, governance support, and cross-team collaboration.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing coordination and administrative support across all stages of the initiative.
  • Supporting the operation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander reference groups.
  • Assisting in building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities, Elders, and organizations.
  • Contributing to the development of culturally appropriate data practices by supporting awareness of Indigenous Data Sovereignty.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience is required. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
