Business Development Role for Agribusiness
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.
- Determine the growth potential of existing relationships with brokers and expand the network of commercial brokers specializing in agri lending.
- Communicate the value proposition and educate targeted brokers on policy, processes, and products to facilitate accreditation.
- Proactively engage with brokers to drive growth within agri loan portfolios in the region.
- Nurture strong working relationships with aggregator partners and accredited brokers.
- Organize webinars, present at professional development days, conferences, and marketing opportunities to enhance our presence.
A successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the Rural/Agri lending market across the state and have a solid understanding of the broker mindset.
- Show a proactive approach to business development, demonstrating high levels of personal and professional resilience.
- Develop and maintain robust internal and external relationships, establishing themselves as trusted advisors to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Comfortably navigate challenging conversations with brokers and credit teams regarding decisions and outcomes.
- Exhibit strong financial analysis skills and a comprehensive understanding of agri credit.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting effectively to large audiences.
- Employ a solution-focused mindset, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
