About the Company:

Ivory Group is a leading commercial fit-out and refurbishment company in Sydney, renowned for delivering high-end projects valued up to $10M. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and established relationships with clients, we are seeking an ambitious Project Coordinator/Junior Operations Manager to oversee the execution of fit-out and refurbishment projects in our Sydney division.

About the Role:

As a key member of our project team, you will collaborate closely with the project manager to successfully deliver fit-out and refurbishment projects valued up to $10M. You will liaise with the client and the project team to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This project will be generously resourced, and you will be supported by a team consisting of a Site Manager, Contracts Administrator, and Cadet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Project Management: Manage time, cost, and quality of project to ensure successful delivery.
  • Methodology & Programming: Develop and implement project methodologies and programming to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Project Team Management & WHS: Manage and coordinate project teams and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Effective Management of Site Teams and Subcontractors: Manage and coordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Report Project Progress to the Managing Director: Provide regular project progress reports to the Managing Director.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary or Trade Qualification: Tertiary or trade qualification in a building-related discipline.
  • Proven Record: Proven record as a Contract Administrator/Junior Project Manager supporting the delivery of projects above $5M.
  • Commercial Fit-out and Refurbishment Experience: Commercial fit-out and refurbishment experience is highly desirable.
