About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HV Electrical Engineer to take on a pivotal leadership position responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operation of high voltage electrical infrastructure across site. This role includes statutory responsibilities as Appointed Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Nominee, guaranteeing all systems meet regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with planning and maintenance teams to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of critical electrical assets. Responsibilities include supervising installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment, providing technical leadership and support to internal teams and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical standards and legislative requirements.

This is a permanent, full-time position working on a 5:2 Roster roster located in Greenbushes, offered as either DIDO or residential. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within HV environments, and strong expertise in HV transmission and distribution networks, including fault rectification.

Key skills required include proficiency in PLC, Citect, and field instrumentation, sound knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and safety legislation, and excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills. Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering are essential, along with certifications in First Aid, LVR/CPR, and S26 training.
