Indigenous Student Education Officer

The Indigenous Student Education Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring engagement and support is provided to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Postgraduate and Vocational Education students.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong purposeful links with communities and students
- Work collaboratively and in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the retention, progression and successful completion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
- Knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and an understanding of community needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage sensitive matters in a professional and culturally appropriate manner
- Proven ability to access, tailor and deliver information effectively to a diverse range of clients and stakeholders
- Proven strong organisational skills and analytical and problem solving skills
