Commercial Project Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Commercial QS Team. This exciting new opportunity will involve working with project teams to measure financial and physical performance against order targets, driving best value from suppliers/subcontractors, and maximising project profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of project specifications, pricing structures, programmes, and contractual conditions.
  • Negotiate and agree contract documentation with clients/main contractors.
  • Assist other departments with pre-start planning and programming.
  • Select and manage suppliers/subcontractors, analysing competitive offers and ensuring the chosen supplier/subcontractor has the necessary skills and capability.
  • Place orders, monitor progress, and track variations in relation to agreed project programmes.
  • Manage day-to-day company cost control, monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Analyse internal reporting systems, design, procurement, and construction.
  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to staff.
