Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Youth Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and rehabilitation of young people in custody.

About the Role

This position involves supervising and supporting young people in custody, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies to support young people's rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the needs of each young person
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Responding to challenging situations and providing crisis intervention as needed

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, education)
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a custodial setting
