About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employment Coordinator to join our team at Flourish Australia. As an Employment Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert support to local Mental Health teams in the delivery of the DES program.
  • Assist sites in achieving DES targets by working collaboratively with the Mental Health team.
  • Ensure jobseeker intake, initial appointments, and interviews are conducted in accordance with DES program guidelines.
  • Support local site teams in assessing referred jobseekers and engaging local businesses to source job vacancies.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring to ensure the sustainability of jobseeker employment placements.
Requirements
  • Experience within the Disability Employment Service industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent organisational abilities.
  • Proof of customer service experience, with demonstrable facilitation, presentation, mentoring, and training skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and client information management systems.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
