Strategic Asset Management Leader

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for asset management? We are seeking an exceptional individual to spearhead our asset management strategy, driving growth and development in a pivotal change within the organisation.
The newly created department will focus on delivering against its 15-20 year growth objectives through the design and implementation of Asset Management systems strategy. You will lead the planning and delivery of whole life cycle asset management projects, representing the organisation in State and National forums.
As Strategic Asset Management Leader, you will have autonomy to create and develop the department, with a pivotal leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a background in Asset Management, gained in the infrastructure industry, with a deep understanding of marine assets.
Key responsibilities include leading the Asset Project Management Team, managing budgets and financial resources, overseeing the identification and evaluation of opportunities for significant improvement in asset reliability and maintenance areas.
The role requires excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with global, national, and state-wide industry leaders, State Government Agencies, Board/Executive members, management, and employees.
