
Leader of Financial Strategy

This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the strategic financial outcomes of major business projects, transactions, and investments. In this role, you will be accountable for delivering financial advice and guidance to support organisational growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert financial advice on major projects and complex transactions to ensure sound decision-making.
- Develop and implement effective financial models and forecasting techniques to inform strategic planning.
- Lead treasury activities, including capital structure management, borrowing terms, and long-term debt planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish robust financial governance frameworks and drive subsidiary performance.
- Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.
- Communicate financial information effectively to executive leaders, board members, and other key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will require proven experience in leading complex financial transactions, implementing business models, and managing corporate structures. Your skills and qualifications should include:
- Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
- Expertise in financial modelling, scenario development, and strategic financial forecasting.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
- Qualifications in Business, Project Finance, Banking, Commerce, Accounting, or related fields.
