Job Description

Our maintenance team plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our restaurant. As an integral part of the restaurant team, you will report to the Restaurant Manager and be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean and functional space.
  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and functioning properly.
  • Organize and maintain the back area of the restaurant, including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
  • Comply with restaurant safety and security standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Complete ad-hoc maintenance tasks as requested by management.
Requirements
  1. High level of attention to detail.
  2. Ability to work autonomously.
  3. Highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  4. Well-presented and friendly demeanor.
  5. Availability to work early mornings to prepare the restaurant for trade.
  6. Able to complete tasks independently, including but not limited to mopping, scrubbing, climbing ladders, cleaning windows, and toilets.
  7. Confident in engaging with customers, suppliers, or contractors, including handling difficult situations.
  8. Capable of hearing and responding to various alerts and alarms.
  9. Resilient and adaptable, with a positive mindset.
  10. Police check required if successful (applicants over 18 years only).
  11. Valid right to work in Australia is required.
