Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and visionary leader to fill the role of Assistant Principal Religious Education at St Patrick's Primary School in Nanango, Queensland.

About the Role

This is a substantive 5 year appointment with a further 5 years subject to a positive review. The successful applicant will be responsible for building the religious life of the school and fostering a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community.

  • Lead and manage a school community effectively, including experience in strategic planning, staff development, and fostering a positive school culture.
  • Proven commitment to promoting and integrating Catholic values and teachings within the school environment, including the ability to lead faith-based initiatives and support the spiritual development of students and staff.
  • Extensive experience in educational leadership, including a strong track record of implementing innovative teaching practices, curriculum development, and improving student outcomes in accordance with AITSL standards.
About You

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including:

  • Experience as an Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to schools.
  • Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.
Requirements

The following requirements must be met:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
  • You must be Catholic or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools.
