Job Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent IT Support Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level support for ITC systems within a Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the Service Desk.
  • Set up and install new and redeployed hardware.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base by creating documentation and updating records of known errors and associated fixes.
  • Assist with managing servers and infrastructure.
  • Provide basic user training as required.
  • Help develop, promote, and increase business efficiencies of the company.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent industry certification.
  • Two to three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Server 2016+, and Hyper-V.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and general networking principles.
  • Knowledge of network cabling, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • High degree of personal integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
