Key Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to a diverse client base.

You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and accounting standards.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Partners and clients, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the ongoing success of the team.

About the Job

As a Senior Financial Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
  • Applying knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry
  • Assisting graduates with work and acting as a mentor/buddy
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards
  • Preparing documents for client meetings with Partner
  • Helping identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues
  • Preparing and analysing management accounting reports
  • Preparing income tax returns
  • Providing advice in relation to various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax
  • Providing general business advisory advice and support to a wide range of client groups
